Walgreens has folders for 10¢ too!

In case you can't make it to an Office Depot for the 10¢ folders, you can stop by the local Walgreens and stock up on folders for 10¢!

Check back for more sale info!

P.S. Walmart does price matching, so bring in an ad from any store with cheaper prices!

Crayons 4 for a $1.00, .25¢ each!

Crayons are on sale at Toys R Us, 4 for $1.00 or .25¢!!! The ad says limit 8, but I am sure a little "teacher charm" will seal the deal! I mean, it is a corporation! They're going to want the sale! The cheapest I've seen! I believe Walmart has crayons for .50¢ but good old grandma just reminded me that Walmart does price matching, so you can probably get crayons for the same price!

Ahh yes! The smell of new school supplies! A teacher's favorite!

Don't you love when the kids come in with all of the their fresh, never used supplies! Everything is so clean and crisp! It's one of the greatest moments at the beginning of the year!   But, after about two days the supplies are already broken or misplaced.... I hate when this happens because the rest of the year I feel like I am reorganizing, and I', going crazy trying to keep 6 and 7 year olds accountable for their stuff!Well not this year! I found some great blogs that have amazing organization tips for the classroom and classroom supplies!  Take a look at some of the blogs that I posted below.....

What do you think?

What are your best organization tips for the classroom?

I just saw a "back to school" sign and almost vomited!

Fourth of July is over, and that usually means that the count down to school starting begins. I just saw a back to school sign and thought "really"? Every holiday or time of year sale is always promoted so early! I hate that! Why can't we just enjoy the time it is right now?!

With that being said, what are my teacher friends doing right now? Relaxing and enjoying summer still? Or, starting to feel the "back to school" bandwagon approaching???

I'm doing a little of both. I am trying to enjoy the month of July. Anything that comes to mind for school goes on an idea list for me to consider in August. What are your thoughts???

32 Third Graders and One Class Bunny

What? You never heard of it??? Neither did I, until "one of the greats" shared it with me about two weeks ago. So, log on to Amazon as soon as you are done reading this post to order a must read book for teachers of all grades!

Right about now most of us are returning to a "human" state again as we ended the school year, said our happy and painful good-byes, and the most dreadful packing up the classroom! I feel my shoulders dropping from around my ears, the dark circles under my eyes are beginning to fade, my hands are marker free, the voices have stopped (teacher... maestra.... mom....Ms.... can you help plan the retirement party, what is the aims web password.... did you do your cum folders...) and my muscles are not sore from carrying all of my work home! Yep, feeling more like a human already.

32 Third Graders and One Class Bunny has rejuvenated me with lots of laughs and some tears -sniff, sniff- but best of all the book shares the life lessons and thoughts of a teacher. Sometimes, you just need to know there are more of us out there that feel the same thing. With that being said, get the book, laugh, cry, and return to your human state!
